Moodle an Hochschulen e.V.



The association Moodle an Hochschulen e.V. was founded in July 2021 and has since grown to more than 50 member universities. The association functions as a contact partner for the coordination of the continuing development of Moodle as well as the joint commissioning of projects for use in higher education across all of Germany. Furthermore, the association is a first point of contact for initiating joint projects and also contact partner for politics and higher education.

Moodle an Hochschulen e.V. is a multiplicating factor for networking and knowledge transfer and thus contributes to digital sovereignty in the education sector. We foster synergistic effects through collecting, bundling and sharing the work of our members. Active exchange of knowledge within the community and the publication of Best Practices for all Moodle-related topics such as didactics, support, setup and maintenance is important to us and we drive progress in each of these areas through meetings of a variety of task forces. Moodle an Hochschulen organises networking events, expert panels, workshops, and further training.
