How To: Getting ready for the DevCamp!

There have been so many great ideas already posted in this forum and I can't wait to hear all of you pitch those ideas on Tuesday!

If you haven't had the time to think of something yet, here are a couple of things to take into consideration … try to think of something that

  • would be useful for the community
  • you would be able to finish in 1-2 days
  • is original
  • you would be able to make user-friendly (UX)

Be aware that pitching ideas is not a walk in the park wink You have only 1 min to convince others that your idea is the idea that other participants should join and work on during the two DevCamp days.

But remember, you are not the only one that has mind-blowing ideas wink

So come prepared and think about what you want to share within 1 min to get others on board.

The team shouldn't be bigger than 3-4 people and should have at least 2 developers - after all, it is a DevCamp. If you can't find any other people, who would be willing to work on your ideas it would be best to join another team with another idea. It is an opportunity to work with other like-minded people, therefore it would be great if we wouldn't have any lone wolves at the DevCamp.

Counting the days … and looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.
