On tuesday I'll see my colleague and we will work on the wordings in order that they meet a "Handreichung «Kompetenzorientierte Lehre»" document our "Kommission Lehre" will be handing out to our faculty. It is the goal to make the Differentiator tool rollout into our Moodle alongside. Then, the plan is to submit it to the Moodle Plugin Directory.

I'll keep you posted.

I'm very curious on what will happen to the other projects and would very much enjoy if other teams opened a Tracking of the project "… … … …" thread here as well!

Best,
Luca

I installed the Differentiator on our productive Moodle today (but with no visible link nowhere, so just accessible by people who know it) and my boss will show it to his didactics class so I'll have the first user reactions.

Now – after having provided full four language translation including an specific Differentiator user tour to import (also in four languages) –  I've just submitted the Differentiator for plugin review.

https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/CONTRIB-7857

Curious to hear what other do with their code and simultaneously pinging Christian Wolters, Tobias Garske, Hannes Laimer: I hope you are all right with this!? Did I forget something? Do you want to contribute some more code/fixes/features?

Best,
Luca

Hey Luca,

thank you for the update and for working on this project further on. That is amazing and I would love to see more of those projects from devCamp move forward.

Cheers Kasia

Really nice! I installed it on my test instance and played a little with it. I like it very much. Thanks for your work! During the user tour I saw all four languages. Somehow it seems language tags didn't work.  It would be cool, but of course it's the same in the original, if group size "one" would not have written "group".

Thanks a lot!

Best,
Stephan

Thank you Luca for pushing this forward!

I'll get involved, as long as there's time ... as always. But you and the repo are on my radar : )

As part of our devCamp project, we presented a minimum viable, corresponding activity called "mod_learninggoal".

This actitvity allows you to display entries from the local_differentiator in context of a course:
Think mod_label but with your predefined learning goal sentences (from the differentiator) instead of free text.

I'm curious if any of you are interested in this activity, if so I would open the now private repo with the prototype after one or two iterations of coding.

Best regards,
Christian

PS: As discussed in Vienna, I totally see a use case for intergrating the differentiator in a block or mod to enrich and track the use of your learning goals over multiple courses. Although one has to keep in mind that there are https://docs.moodle.org/37/en/Competency_frameworks and https://docs.moodle.org/37/en/Outcomes in Moodle which are overlapping areas.

Hi fellow developers

I'm very pleased to announce that the differentiator now made it into the official plugin directory!

Thanks for the approval.

Side note: For those interested in Vue.js and how it could be used with Moodle write down in your calendar the following:
