Let's build some Tiny editor plugin

The Tiny (TinyMCE 6) editor will become standard soon. But some important plugins do lack.
Recently, https://moodle.org/plugins/tiny_multilang2 and https://moodle.org/plugins/tiny_fontcolor have been published.

But there's still missing.

I'm thinking of Tiny versions of the CLOZE editor (https://moodle.org/plugins/atto_cloze), embedded questions (https://moodle.org/plugins/atto_embedquestion), Moodle App link (https://moodle.org/plugins/atto_applink) or even Teams meeting (https://moodle.org/plugins/atto_teamsmeeting). A chance to hands on learn about Tiny plugins but then also build some and submit to review to appear in the Moodle Plugin directory.

Dear Luca,

there is a plugin called Chemistry Editor for ATTO (https://moodle.org/plugins/atto_chemistry) which is used by some teachers in our university. We also need this plugin in the new Tiny and we have tried to adapt the plugin (it is based on build-in equation editor in Moodle 4.1/Tiny). We have tested the plugin in version 4.1, it works.
Unfortunately we are not at the DevCamp, only at BarCamp and due to resource constraints, we probably cannot offer maintenance or further development of the plugin, but we can share the source code here for further development: https://github.com/TOP-Lehre/tiny_chemistry

Hey Luca ...

I could have bet that you would be the first one to come up with some ideas for the DevCamp - thank you so much.

I am curious what the other attendees think about that - let us know if that would be an idea you would either want to work on with Luca or would be interested in being worked on ammiccante

Have a lovely day,

Kasia ?️

I am definitely up for making a TinyMCE equivalent of atto_embedquestion.
