Advantages of gamification

1. Using Leaderboards in Moodle:
- can promote healthy competition
- Showcase the Top Participants
- Available to your students anonymously
- Some Activities (Studentquiz) already include leaderboard

2. Using completion tracking in moodle
- Use Checklists
- Use "Activity completion" and "Restriction" to guide and motivate

3. Using Level Systems in moodle
- Topics become Levels
- Terms like "Review quizzes" transform into "Revival potions"
- Collectibales like coins and points

4. More helpful ideas

- H5P
- Easter Eggs
- Missions
- Avatars

- Choice
- Studentsquiz

- Glossary

Instead of chapters, call them Levels

Use Bonus chapters, that will be unlocked after e.g. a final exam.
