MootDACH25: Improvement of the course overview

On the my courses-site in Moodle there's the course overview implemented, where users can search for available courses. There's less functionality at the moment.

To give users more options in handling, I would like to pitch the following at the DevCamp:

add sorting by "Course start date"
-> unsolved tracker issue: https://moodle.atlassian.net/browse/MDL-66888
add sorting by "Starred/ not starred"
add option to choose the sorting order (ascending/ descending)
add settings in the website administration to define:
- the available sorting options -> unsolved tracker issue: https://moodle.atlassian.net/browse/MDL-78731
- the default sorting option
- the default sorting order -> unsolved tracker issue: https://moodle.atlassian.net/browse/MDL-78731

If you have any ideas for further improvement on the course overview, don't hesitate to add a comment on that.

Course overview would definitely deserve some love. Still a bit clunky if one has loads of courses.

Hi everyone,

a brief review on this:
During the DevCamp we were able to work on this pitch. Please find a short presentation attached with further details in this post.

Our team developed new available sorting options and admin settings for the course overview block (MDL-66888, MDL-78731). Furthermore there where some bugfixes done for the CSS of the plugin (MDL-86521, MDL-86522).

I'd like to thank my team members - Alex Bias, Thorsten Gattinger and Wolfgang "Dennis"Baier - it was a pleasure for me. All did a great job and we had a nice, productive and educational time.
Furthermore I'd like to thank all the developers of Moodle HQ for their support during the DevCamp as well as Luca Bösch who already reviewed two of our tracker issues (MDL-66888, MDL-86521).

... and if anyone else help us and could review the remaining issues (MDL-78731, MDL-86522) it would be genius.
