During this year’s DevCamp, we worked on the WhoisWho plugin. The idea behind this tool is to support administrators by providing a quick and clear overview of users, their roles, and their capabilities within a course, across the system, or in a specific module. The plugin also helps detect capability-related issues instantly, making administration more transparent and efficient.

Key functions of the plugin include:

Admin category and dashboard page under Site administration > Tools > Who is who.

Capability-gated access (
tool/whoiswho:dashboardaccess). -
Mustache-based template for the dashboard UI.

Plugin settings page to select profile fields used by the tool.
