Today it is my pleasure to introduce Travis who will be joining us as mentor during the MoodleMoot DACH DevCamp in order to assist and support our dev teams the help them to "produce working code".
Travis Windsor
Travis is Director of Architecture & Engineering at Moodle, where he leads the global team responsible for technical leadership of the Moodle portfolio. With 20 years of leadership across Software Engineering, Product Management and Operations roles, Travis has consistently guided large distributed organisations through complex organisational or technical transformations, scaling delivery while maintaining a sharp focus on customer impact.
Prior to Moodle, Travis held senior leadership roles at Versent, Vix Technology, Imdex and IBM, specialising in leading distributed global software engineering teams delivering high quality, large-scale, production grade solutions. Travis has overseen multiple on-premise products transitioning to Software-as-a-Service offerings, leveraging cloud platforms and an API-first design approach to empower his teams to rapidly respond to escalating customer requirements.
Fun facts
When he's not leading software teams, Travis enjoys time with his family, expanding his Lego collection or anything to do with Star Wars, though rarely all at the same time.
