    • Welcome to MoodleMoot DACH 2026 in Zurich!

      DevCamp 30.06. - 01.07.2026 - BarCamp 02. - 03.07.2026

🎯 MootDACH26 is the event for all Moodle users genuinely interested in Moodle’s more technical aspects - no matter if developers, administrators, or educators. It is focused on knowledge exchange, development in teams, higher education and genuinely technical topics

With its format of DevCamp and BarCamp, MootDACH26 actively involves participants in shaping the programme, offers a lot of space for creativity, networking, and exchange, and is generally very interactive. The DevCamp is organized as a hackathon and especially invites developers to be creative.

Event languages are German and English so that all participants can contribute in the best possible way.

In advance, we invite you to discuss your ideas in the forum and thus prepare for an interactive and inspiring unconference.

💶 MootDACH26 is open and free of charge. Travelling, accommodation, and other personal expenses like food and beverages must be covered by the participants.

☀️ We can't wait to see you in summer!

A MoodleMoot is a fantastic opportunity to meet new and like‑minded people, make connections, and build friendships. That’s why we have organized two evening events taking place on Wednesday, 1 July, and Thursday, 2 July. For some of the events, a few details are still missing; these will be added continuously as they are confirmed.

If the organized events do not meet your preferences, we have also collected ideas on how to best spend your time in Zurich. You might even find someone to join you via the forum.

Don’t miss the opportunity to order one of our MootDACH 2026 T‑shirts! Orders can be placed until 15 June 2026.

    • 🎟️ Registration group events (1 July) Grouptool

Each activity has 15 to 25 participants, making it easy to connect with others. You can choose the event you like most and sign up in advance using the registration tool.

During MootDACH26, all participants will have access to the ASVZ Sport Center Hönggerberg on the ETH campus. You will find a QR code on your badge, which you can use to enter the sports facilities. Please scan the QR code at the check-in terminal before entering.

    • DevCamp: Tue. 30th June & Wed. 1st July

“It’s an intensive two-day hackathon which allows Moodle developers to work with like-minded people on hands-on projects while having the opportunity to exchange know-how, validate their ideas and create working code.”

Moodle DevCamp is a free, two-day, open hackathon for all developers, UX experts, QA professionals, and anyone else interested in Moodle. The event is all about turning your own ideas into working code and presenting the results over the course of the two days.

At the start of the event, participants will present their ideas. Afterward, everyone can work on the project that piqued their interest the most. Once like-minded individuals have teamed up, they will have the space and time to produce actual code.

The MootDACH26 is a BarCamp focusing on Moodle. Participants create the programme!

This ad hoc unconference format allows people to exchange information in an open environment and learn from each other. It is an intense event involving discussions, presentations and participant interaction. An introductory round takes place at the start of the event. Everyone has the opportunity to focus on their main interests and contribute to the session plan by proposing topics or joining existing ones. Each 45-minute session is independently designed by the participants joining it. Participants are welcome to change sessions during the event.
