Input talk: Managing and sharing large question banks

(Is English the right language for this? Please tell me if German would be more suitable...)

Moodle's question bank is gaining new features and flexibility with every major release. We are using centralized Moodle courses as question repositories and do not store questions in the "actual" course anymore.

I'd like to pitch an input talk / presentation where I'd show how we set up and use such courses to collaborate on question authoring and maintenance, both locally and internationally. The input talk also contains an introduction to the gitsync plugin, which allows the synchronization of question banks and quizzes with git repositories, thus enabling power users to use external scripts for managing questions.

Side note: The development of gitsync was possible since we built qbank_importasversion at the MoodleMoot DACH 2023 at ETH!

Hi Andreas,

English is perfectly fine - as German would be, too. It is MootDACH, so German is acutally our mother toungue. And we will keep speaking German, at least for now. But as MootDACH is growing and becoming more and more international, English has spread and is welcome as well.

For the MootDACH organizing team,
Antonia
