We have over 450 detailed tutorials and excellent support material. The problem: the click rates are abysmal because hardly anyone knows where to find them when they get stuck in their workflow. We are making users search for instructions instead of bringing the instructions directly to them.
This is exactly what we want to change. The goal is to seamlessly integrate the Moodle documentation and our own tutorials directly into the user interface—specifically in two independent areas:

In the Activity Chooser's info area: Tailored best-practice examples and tutorials exactly at the moment someone is deciding which tool to use.

Behind the blue question marks: A direct, optional extension of the standard help texts for specific fields and settings.
To implement this, we don't need to touch the core. There are already two contributions that provide clean hook-points for both the Activity Chooser and the help texts. However, they are currently still in the Component Lead Review. The Dev-Camp is the ideal opportunity to build a working Proof of Concept based on these patches. By demonstrating live what is possible, we will deliver the necessary arguments to finally push these contributions into the core.
This approach also has a massive strategic side effect: This structured delivery of information is the perfect fuel for our Agent Mode. Our assistant can tap into this highly specific context to deliver significantly more precise results.
Looking ahead, the hook in the Activity Chooser will also allow us to directly integrate an AI assistant right there. Instead of clicking through lists, users can ask semantic questions and receive perfectly tailored suggestions. This is the ideal docking point for the RAG project that Philipp pitched—we are creating the exact interface needed to bring his RAG logic directly into the Activity Chooser.
