We are planning to submit some paid plugins to the Moodle Marketplace - and have been preparing and getting some submitted in advance.
We would like to meet any developers who have or are planning to have paid plugins in the Moodle Marketplace to meet to share and discuss a few things:
- What terms and conditions are you planning to have?
- How are you planning to deal with refunds under the EU Consumer Rights Directive-which gives consumers an unconditional 14-day no questions asked right to cancel and return online purchases including eligible digital content.?
- Are you planning on using radar in stripe to limit purchase regions or other things?
- How are you planning to handle post-instal validation (for example, we will issue keys to the purchasing organisation)?
- In the terms, what limits are you putting on support?
- What scenarios have you scoped regarding people who buy but cant use through no. fault of yours etc.. (Eg, buying but being not allowed to install in their moodle site).
Probably lots more questions.
Would love to meet tomorrow at lunch for iniitial chat - I will be at the DevCamp from 12:30. onwards.
