The feedback that we received from the participants of last years MoodleMoot DACH DevCamp in Vienna about Amaia & Sara joining the DevCamp as mentors was amazing. And that's exactly why we are more than excited to announce that both will be joining our DevCamp in Lübeck once again as mentors to support and help our DevCamp participants in creating amazing and working code in order to improve and enhance Moodle.
At Moodle HQ, she has worked on projects such as the Content Bank and H5P. She is always ready to chat with users and share experiences because she knows that understanding their needs is key. And that's the most exciting part of the Moots!
Computer engineer from Catalonia, working as a developer and integrator at Moodle HQ since 2017, with projects like Badges and H5P. Open-source passionated which fuels a collaborative spirit that serves as a driving force throughout life's journey.
The connection with Moodle began much earlier. For 14 years, worked on projects for the Ministry of Education of Catalonia, such as Àgora or XTECBlocs, which relied on open-source software like Moodle or WordPress. Additionally, contributed to the development of several Moodle plugins, including JClic, Quaderns Virtuals, GeoGebra, and Configurable Reports.
During free time, hiking, running, orienteering, reading, or crocheting can be enjoyable activities.- We both confuse tunnels and bridges, so we've adopted the term 'brunnel' to ensure accuracy.
- Sara loves orienteering, yet despite years of experience, she still finds herself getting lost.
- Beer's not really our thing. We prefer cider.
- We don’t speak German. And although we’re both bilingual, English isn’t our native language.
- Still, even without speaking German, we completely fell in love with MootDACH last year on our very first time.
- Someone told us you need to attend at least twice to be considered part of the MootDACH family. So we’re coming back this year to make it official and hopefully keep coming for many more years!
