In addition to our power-team from last years MoodleMoot DACH in Vienna, the amazing Amaia and Sara, we will have additional Moodle HQ developers joining our DevCamp as mentors. During the next couple of weeks I would like to introduce them to you, so that you know whom to look for during the DevCamp
Today it is my pleasure to introduce to you Huong who will be assisting and supporting our dev teams in order to "produce working code".
Huong Nguyen
He is a Developer and Integrator at Moodle HQ, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He has been with Moodle HQ since 2021, contributing to core areas such as Administration, Quiz, the TinyMCE editor, and AI integration. His journey with Moodle began in 2016 while working at The Open University (UK), where he contributed to various projects in the Assessment and Administration team and several Moodle plugins, including StudentQuiz, custom question types, and the Moodle Developer Kit (MDK).
Outside of his professional work, he is a dedicated table tennis enthusiast.
Fun facts:
- He is a table tennis enthusiast and is always up for a good rally between coding sessions!
- He once fixed a critical Moodle bug while waiting for a connecting flight — airport Wi-Fi and all.
