Making the learning experience more fun and engaging in Moodle

Hello,

I've been creating Moodle courses that include text, videos and quizzes (including some drag and drops). Now, recently I've started to experiment with tools like Genially and Rise 360, which allow you to create pieces of content that look amazing or activities that are super easy and intuitive to do. And I wonder if some of you are leveraging these in your Moodle courses? And more generally, what have you all been doing to make the learning experience fun in Moodle?

Looking forward to chatting with you all on Thursday!

Cheers,

Valerie

Dear Valerie,
interesting issue! Having some gamification elements in a course can make learning experience more fun. I am happy to join you in this discussion.
Cheers,
Judith

Hi Valerie,

we are using Rise and storyline to create content and include it in Moodle. Attractive content can be created much easier - but the reporting is very limited. (Minimal scorm: content completed/finished or testresultat). We are now looking to include more gamification elements in our course design: badges, feeback, challenges, progress bar, etc.

I would be happy to exchange about this topic.

Best regards,

Brigitte

Hello Valérie,

I am interested in the topic. I am using badges and H5P content in my courses.
