In version 5.0, some changes have been introduced that affect third-party plugins. Although these changes have been documented in the dev docs and upgrade notes, and presented in dev meetings and some Moots, there might still be interest in Sara and me briefly explaining what they are and how to deal with them.
We also hope that developers who have already migrated their plugins can share their migration experience, and maybe together we can come up with a list of tips to help developers who still need to migrate their plugins to 5.0.
